WTB: Amiga 1200 motherboard
« on: May 24, 2008, 09:28:31 PM »
Hi, I need a new motherboard, since my own appears to be broken (crackling sound when I hit the right mouse button, followed by no drop down menu).

Board must be fully working and in good condition. Rev. of motherboard isn“t important.

I got one recently from AmigaKit. They still have them.

Yes, I know, but a fellow Amigan here in Denmark bought one from them, and it wasn't the best.

We sell many A1200 motherboards (new and refurbished) without problem.  If a customer has problems with his motherboard, it is covered under our warranty.

@amigakit

I'm sure it's covered under warranty, but it's a matter of cost of shipping it back, to get it replaced *if* it should turn out to have problems.

For the same price I can buy a whole computer, shipping included.

@doctorQ : you seems to have a CMS caps problem. try to find a TV/Video technician, it will be very easy for him to change these old dying caps.

@CLS2086

Leaking caps? Well, I have to replace some on a couple of A4k motherboards, so can just as well do it on this one.

It would still be nice to have a replacement board though; in case something goes wrong.
