The syncs (below) should work for NTSC/PAL.

Scanning Frequency
 Analog Mode : 15-80 kHz (horizontal)
 50-90 Hz (vertical)

Anyone try it?

Haven't tried it, but I've seen here more often LCD's which seemed to be ok for Amiga use, considering the specs, but didn't work in fact.

I've got a 19" Acer that I can't seem to be able to find anywhere anymore.  It's got SCART input and Composite.  It cost a bit more than a simple VGA one of the same size though.  Like, double.  But seeing as it was replacing two monitors at the same time I didn't mind so much!

On the other hand, the monitor specs explicitly states it can take composite sync, which makes it quite probable it can take Amiga RGBs signals.

I bought and used today a Samsung Syncmaster 940MW that I tried a lot to find...
It's awesome tbh:
- Used VGA for RTG via Voodoo3 (Played a lot of P96 to achieve 1440x900 but it works)
- Used VGA for AGA via ScanMagic SD (Works like a charm and downscales also nice)
- Used Scart for A600 (RGB-->Scart, Works like any LCD on Scart - Pretty good!)
- Haven't used DVI-D due to lack of cable
- Used VGA for PC (Drivers on Analog VGA gave me Max 1200x720 = Kinda lame. Maybe DVI would work better)
- Haven't used SVHS (since I have no device atm)
- Used Picture-In-Picture (that works only on VGA mode) with Voodoo or AGA and on PiP = TV or A600

The only downside was 2 dead pixels so sadly I have to send it back and get some other model (since it was the last) :S
Unfortunatelly the SM 940MW is indeed a fine solution but since it's discontinued you can find it only as refurbished and rarely new, on old stock stores and Ebay as used.

Anyone tried any other model with all these that I mentioned above? (RTG/AGA in VGA via SD, Scart)

The GT02-32E2-000G LCD TV has all the inputs of the 940MW less DVI, but it does have 2x HDMI.

The bonus of it is that the VGA input supports 15khz native Amiga resolutions pretty well.
The image quality is excellent, however PAL High Res of 640x256 misses the bottom 56 lines. NTSC High Res is perfect.

We really need a solution for our aging Amiga displays.  I cant believe that Hyperion, Amiga Inc., or anyone with a vested interest in the Amiga could not come up with a hardware adapter for modern monitors.

I called a technician at Spectre, whoi was unfamiliar with the Amiga.  One solution might be to send them an Amiga and see if they have a cable solution for our RGB.
