The Minds Eye - Computer Animation. Is it influenced by Amiga?

I grew up as a teen in the early-mid 90s. I spent my leisure time watching The Minds Eye, a series of computer animations produced by Steven Churchill. Computer Animation was submitted from various companies at the time like Data Pacific, and some Japanese firms as well. I could have sworn that the Commodore Amiga was involved in the creation of Minds Eye. Does anyone know if the Amiga is connected to the Minds Eye through use of Animation programs, companies, etc. The music was done by Jan Hammer.

I used to own the videotapes: The Original Minds Eye, Beyond the Minds Eye, Computer Animation Festival.

One of their tapes - Computer Animation Classics features an animation made on an Amiga - with Dpaint no less! Dance off the Stumblers by Steve Segal. I remember seeing this in another compilation on the big screen in an "arthouse" cinema. Even though it was featured with state of the art stuff done on Crays and Silicon Graphics, it got a great reaction from the audience. .. Of course I spotted several members of the local Amiga user group in that audience. ;-)
