Disconnecting power from a 2000 mobo?
« on: May 05, 2008, 01:18:59 PM »
Sounds like a stupid question even to me but...
When I was installing the CD drive in my 2000, I wanted to remove the drive bays etc so I could secure the drive from both sides but although I tried and tried I couldn't remove the power connector from the mobo so I gave up rather than doing some damage to the socket ...

Is there a special tecnique?

use a flat screwdriver to 'release the tooth' (plastic holder)
