Maybe I can catch one of these. First of all: what the heck is that Scala edition? It claims to have a 68030. I thought every  4000 has a 68040 at least. And a "very special video capture card".
No monitor, just the central unit (it's a desktop one), mouse & keyboard. And an adapter to VGA monitor. No SD I think.
How much will you pay for this? Are there possibilities to expand? Do I need a mediator to use PCI stuff? Can I expand RAM Memory directly or do I have to buy a special card
Too maney questions :-) Thanks everybody in advance.

It sounds like an Amiga 4000D/030 model which was one of the last models released by Commodore before they went under. It's the one I owned because I couldn't quite afford the 040 version as a college student. I'm not sure what the capture card is if it's Scala related it could have been from an infochannel on TV. Can you get more details.

Otherwise, I'd look at what the A4000D/030 is worth itself. eBay sells them for nuts prices. Is there an asking price already on this unit?

I won't bid, 'cause I'm out of space now. The link points to Spanish Ebay:

Yes (lots). Yes. Yes and yes, that's also possible :-D

You're confused with the A4000CR (Cost Reduced) which had the 68030 soldered on the mainboard.

The regular A4000 was made with either an A3630 card and labeled A4000/030, or with an A3640 card, labeled A4000/040. I guess there even are more 030s than 040s sold.

Strange, here in the States I never saw the CR model. I bought one of the first 100 or so A4000/030s off the boat at the World of Commodore show in NYC the last year it was held. They made a big deal about the limited stock and being the first ones in the States to be sold.

If the battery didn't leak that's a GREAT price on it.

I'd bid if you can swing it.

I'd love to but they don't list International shipping.

I'd be a little suspicious of ANY card that does not show up in the System_Configuration window, that means it is not AutoConfig (C) capable (or the seller knows nothing about hardware).
