External CD enclosure
« on: July 30, 2003, 02:05:12 AM »
I'm looking for an external CD enclosure to hold a plain internal CD-Rom drive. It must be interfaceless, so just the plastic enclosure. Its actually not for my Amiga.

Try MAC users or Dealers. They commonly use these, although what I've seen are made from metal.

In fact, I have one that (through a 5¼"-3½" addaptor) held a SCSI Hard Drive for many years.

;-) Try your local charity thrift stores.  The ones here usually have loads of such things, and similar.  It helps to visit frequently.

I bought one of those boxes at the Goodwill for 99 cents... even came with a free 44MB Syquest drive. :-)
