FastATA MKIII Controller...
« on: January 15, 2008, 04:56:23 PM »
Hi folks, I've got a little problem here. Turns out that I emailed Elbox asking to subscribe to the fastata mk3 list to get the latest drivers released a few days ago, I've got a reply asking for my controller's serial# which I sent them in a reply to their email, it's an old version but this controller was upgraded with a package I bought from them, however I've emailed twice since then and they do not reply anymore nor do send the drivers... I've no way to probe my controller was updated, they should have this information in their records I guess, but apparently they don't. So, I'm wondering if anyone here is willing to help as I really need these drivers for OS4... Please PM me! I will really, really appreciate it.

Thanks for any help!

Surely the drivers are available for download directly from their website?

Why would they need to control downloads? It's not as if there are any clones of their hardware. You have to own one to use it.

If they were worried about traffic on their server, they could uploaded it to Aminet or their Yahoo Group webpage.

What are they playing at?

Elbox always require registration before they will do you the great honour of allowing you to use updated drivers. It's ridiculous.

What about if you buy a used device, will they let you register that?
