I don't think so, for one thing New Coke was a real product...

Agreed. I liked New Coke, though. (I'm a Pepsi drinker.) If Amiga, Inc. were to enlist Matt Frewer as a spokesmen, their geek cred would increase substantially.

Given that C= supplied many of the computers for Max Headroom (the drama, not the talk show) you could make the argument that's already happened, in a backhanded way :-D

I'm pretty sure that AA2 is a real product. They had is all running at a show and stuff back when they had to backtrack and say that it wasn't a rebadged AOS5.

AmigaAnywhere2 was a GCC-based API and cross-compiler collection that allows the creation of a binary that will run on many handheld devices without having to write separate code for each.  It doesn't support the Classic Amiga and will therefore face the same fate as the original AmigaAnywhere.

@SamuraiCrow

That, and you have to sell your products through Amiga, Inc.'s web portal. If a developer is going that route, then I think they'd choose the iPhone and iTunes channel over Amiga, Inc. any day.

It it's a real product how much does it cost? Where do I buy it?  What are they system requirements for it?  If I can sell what I develop on Amiga.com why are there only the same 15 Amiga games rewritten for the PC there, the ones that have been there for the last 2 years?

Those questions and more are answered at amiga.com. The fact that no new products are available is telling. It's possible developers have negotiated independent contracts, but it seems unlikely.

Looks like Amiga Inc's products will run on any OS, provided that the OS is a MS Windows variant....
