You can also just try the good old floppy disk way. The A1200 has a DD drive, so ADFs don't directly fit on disk, but a lot of them fit when you pack them with zip (or another packer), or use a filesplitter/joiner.

But I agree that a CF card reader is far easier - you only have to buy it while you probably have floppies anyway :-)

Note that using "WHDLoad" you can install - and access from the game menus - all four Test Drive II scenery and car disks without having to configure the game.
