Keyboard Question for SX32
« on: December 20, 2007, 05:34:13 AM »
I bought a SX32. I want to know if I can use a din to PS2 adapter from a PC store to use a A2000 keyboard?

Or is it possible to use a PS2 keyboard without modifying it?

@amiga1260

Yes you can use that PC adaptor to use A2000 keyboards..............some Rip Off Artists on eBay try to make you think it has to be Amiga specific but it doesn't.  You can use an A4000 keyboard on the SX32 or an A2000 one if you have the enlarger thingy.

Also the SX32 Pro (dont know about the Mark II)   lets you plug a PC keyboard if you do the proper Jumper modifications and some simple wiring. I was always afraid to myself...........but since I owned the ORIGINAL CD32 keyboard with the CD32 logo on it...........I didnt really need to, plus I had one of those Mr Hardware cables that let you plug PC keyboards into A4000 and CD32.

I still have that cable..............willing to trade it or sell it possibly...If I percieve My A1200 project wont work with it (Trying to get a Wireless keyboard into my Desktop 1200)
CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...
