The Blizzard SCSI-kit 's manual says you have to set the jumper on the Blizzard acelerator to 70ns IF you use 2 SIMMS ( one on the acelerator, and one on the SCSI-ki).

That's exactly what the quoted part of the German manual says (apparently, the jumper in question is called RAMSPEED). Plus:

"The Blizzard SCSI-KIT IV requires SIMMS with a speed of 70 ns or faster".

Not exactly helpful ;-)

Thx. At least now I know that the german version doesn't have the info either.
Now has someone used /tested it (mem speed etc. )

The reason I'm asking this is because using the SCSI-Kit I can have SIMMs in the desktop A1200 without having to   lift up the case. Don't know if there is a Blizzard 1240/60 version that allows one  to put the SIMMs in the accelerator without lifting the case but with mine it's impossible..
