I haven't got a Mediator, so I cannot help you with your setup.  But I've got a SB, and there are tons of helper applications for stuff like EAX and surround that only work in windoze - I'd imagine that a lot of that stuff simply won't run on AmigaOS.

Hi,

I haven't noticed a difference in the quality playing MP3s or
high-quality audio. Just make sure that you set the AHI driver to the
highest frequency possible. With MP3s though, you can't use the best
quality on a 68K system, except maybe on an 060.

I think that you may get some distortion also if you set the volume on
the SB all the way up through the MIXER program.

Cheers!
