Sorry pal, but there's no truth in your statements only your opinion and very biased at it.

Perhaps you don't grasp your own wording, but that would be another history...

no you cant use amigaos with this, also its a crappy hw with few opportunities, it run the unfinished morphos1.4 that are in beta and crash alot. dont throw your money away on this none supported and deadend hw....

Unfinished and crashes a lot? What the heck are you talking about. MOS 1.4 is stable as can be and its a fantastic Amiga like OS! I even feel its got a lot of better features then Os4 in some areas.

Heya...

I purchased an EFIKA for $99.

I had a lot of fun building a very cool case.

It has a 40Gb hd, ATI 9250, and micro PSU.  I have had some fun playing with a couple of linux distros.

I have had trouble with the sound, but I realize this is likely due to my own limited skills.

It is a very cool toy, remember for some of us 'its all about the hobby'.

I am really waiting for MOS.

I am sure AROS will rock, hopefully it will have a capable web browser soon.  I will make a donation after I can get some use from it.

I know everybody is hard at work, 'Keep at it guys!'

@A1260

Funny. Your latest posts are all "OS4 is coming w00t", and that's great. Your last posts are very "Genesi hw sucks, MorphOS sucks". and that's fine. 1 + 1 = 2, so I reckoned you where a blindsighted "red" troll. But it seems that I was wrong, since you prefer linux above (any form of) AmigaOS nowaydays.

Not that I care really, but this combination was a first for me :-)

Seems like all the .. oh, I dont know.. blue trolls? have a hard time grasping that A1260 was bashing MorphOS on Efika - not MorphOS in general.

I'm not much of a blue or red troll, but I do know that "regular Joes" can not get MorphOS in any release for it, and that there are lots of other hardware less crappy and just as cheap to run Linux/*BSD/OpenSlo^h^holaris on.

Not since the MorphOS pre 1.5 (1.4.x with large values of x) was renamed pre MorphOS 2.0.

So you're assuming he's a MorphOS developer/betatester? Because AFAIK no one else has access to MorphOS for Efika.

I'm assuming that he probably has visited one of the many happenings where MorphOS on efika has been demoed, or heard/read reviews from others who've seen/tried it. So he could have written 2.0 instead of 1.4, but would it really make any difference? Neither is available, and the efika is still crap :-)

There never were any talks of 1.4 on EFIKA, only 1.5 now 2.
