Do you think Anyone would sell a completely standard A4000 for £50 inc P&P? or a A2000 with scsi/ide interface with more RAM?

Forget it. These things sell for about that with a faulty motherboards. Like my uncle's but I don't think he has it anymore. Your best bet is to upgrade the 1200. I'm thinking of retiring my 1200D and putting all the stuff in the 1200T I bought.
But like I said, why not put a wanted AD in the free ads and see who calls? That's how I got my stuff cheap, plus nobody else did that in my area so the Amiga market was all to myself, no competition. Just make sure your polite and positive over the phone and ask how much they would be looking for. Just hope they say "Well I'm just hoping to just get rid of it" (*JACKPOT* lol). Although I couldn't leave a guy who gave me 2 500's, 1 600 and several bits and pieces for nothing so I gave him £10 for his time. :-) It's good fun if you can get the transport.

I have seen a Amiga A1200 in a tower (no PCI) with a '030@50mhz SCSI CD and HD, 4 GB 2.5" HD, 3.0 ROMS
and a Monitor for £180.
is it worth £180?
Will it run OS 3.9 ok if i got 3.1 roms?

No, I wouldn't say a 1200 in a tower with an 030 was worth £180, that's far too much. Your best bet is to keep an eye on amibench.com There aren't many bargains to be had on ebay nowadays but sometimes you can get some deals.

There is a Amiga A2000 with keyboard, mouse, monitor, 1.5MB RAM and a PC Bridge board.
How much should i pay for that?
Its either this or a Michael Jackson picture disc collection.

You dont really want an A2000 (or an A1500).

If you have only £50 to spend, you want an A1200 with RAM expansion and hard drive.

Again dont pay more than £50
