AmigaHunt the odyssey continues...
« on: October 11, 2007, 06:10:29 AM »
Hi folks,

Well I got halfway across the storage area this evening, still haven't found my big box of amiga goodness. Trophies so far are the WB 3.0 disks, a couple of disks with Schwartz anims, and a box of 40 pre-used DSDD floppies I got for miggy fodder from a yard sale, with someones PC backup on or something. Also found a Commodore PSU of 8 bit vintage, not quiiiite sure why I have it, think I might have picked it up for using for electronic projects or something. Don't even know what it "belongs" to. Starting to worry I've got no display to use. Remember the 1084 getting some rough treatment in moving. Though I do have another composite monitor somewhere... and if worst comes to worst, I'll have to fire it up on a B/W TV... Think I can see the box with most of my disks and software in... let's hope that's it, coz otherwise it's either crushed or against the damp wall. Been hopefully looking up specs on various monitors I've come across, NEC Multisync... nope, wrong model. Though I'm gonna drag the 21 inch one over to the bench just to see some productivity modes on it if I find my adapter.

Well anyhoo, maybe tomorrow I'll get to it...

Hi

You stopped just when it was getting interesting. I could actually picture all that was going on there. Having spent many a happy hour rummaging through boxes full of Amiga kit I can appreciate just how much fun this all can be. Do keep us informed of how you get on..

yeah I'm still digging, seem to only get 5 mins down there then the phone rings, get distracted, somehow don't get back down there for another hour or two, then the phone rings again.....

Hi

I unplugged the telephone years ago. Seriously.
