Don't compare a CV64 with a CV64/3D.

Do we really have to hear this every time somebody thinks something is too expensive? If the price is so outrageous that nobody will buy it then the seller will have to either reduce the price or keep the item. If it does sell at a price you're not prepared to pay then it's tough.

@motorollin

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Lesson learned; don't offer items to the community, just stick it on ebay right away.

Yes, there's a sucker born every minute. And thanks to eBay, we all know exactly where to find them.

What will eventually happen, though, is this:

1. All the suckers on eBay that overextended their credit by buying overpriced items will eventually need to sell them.
2. The suckers will photograph said items on shag carpet on a dry day after heavy-handing them across the room in bare feet. There's a 50% chance the itmes were cuddle by a cat, too.
3. The cheap suckers (like me) will then buy the damned things anyway, hoping they work at least some of the time.

In defense of the Doctor,
I bought another of his Cybervision 64's (his other board he offered a couple of month's ago)
and he was most pleasant in the transaction, and
packed it well and offered software via download too.

Ganging up on him seems not too fair either.
There are too many thiefs even on Ebay that
take money and deliver zero.
PPC accelerators seem the biggest inflated prices.

I found his board in new condition.

First off I wouldn't compare that CV64/3D either as that is a more valuable card in itself. But in the peoples defence, they could be helping by saying it is steep so that you can get a better idea of today's value for it. If yout  wanto rip people off then use eBay, most seem to think there are loonatics on there who will pay over the odds for just about anything that is apparently "ZOMFG RARE!". I saw an Amstrad GX4000 selling for near £80 so why not list the card there rather then asking people on here who have a better idea of true values?
