Rounded SCSI cables in the UK
« on: January 04, 2008, 01:47:22 PM »
I'm trying to get hold of a rounded SCSI cable in the UK, but I can't find the one I'm looking for. I'm currently using an Adaptec 68-way LVD/SE ribbon with a terminator at one end. I would like a rounded version of that cable. It needs to support at least 2 devices (plus controller - so three connectors in total). If anyone knows of a supplier, please let me know.

Another good source for cables is:
http://www.redmondcable.com/index.asp?pgid=1
If they don't stock it, they'll make it up for you. Prices are usually fair too. Shipping for you will be more however...
A2000 GVP 40MHz \'030, 21Mb RAM SD/FF, 2 floppies, internal CD-ROM drive, micromys v3 w/laser mouse
A1000 Microbotics Starboard II w/2Mb 1080, & external floppy (AIRdrive)
C-128 w/1571, 1750, & Final Cartridge III+

Are you after the usual 25 - 50 pin SCSI 1 cable?

No, he's after a 4-way (2*devices + controller + terminator) INTERNAL 68-pin UltraWide SCSI-3 cable for his Cyberstorm MKIII.

@Motorolin
I think you have to ignore the photographs on that site the same photo is used on the 4-way, 6-way and 8-way cables!

Yes I did notice the picture was the same for all the cables - laziness! ;-) Also, the connectors look to be in quite an inconvenient arrangement on that picture, so I have contacted them to get the measurements between the connectors.
