While browsing, I accidentally clicked on the link in my bookmarks for Back2TheRoots, and lo and behold, it came up!

I could cry!  :-P

I did find another site (through the bttr drought), which looked like they uploaded the entire tosec cat

I have no idea how legal it is though?

My fav question for the whole adf legal question is:-

Often the cracked disks come on menu disks. Who owns the copyright?

The disk contain data which is not the same as the original game disk, but running the menu disk you get to play a game which for all intensive purposes is a game made by someone else!

Its almost along the same lines as an unauthorised sample on a music cd, but taken to a further degree.

So when these sites ask for permittion to distrubute, do they need to ask the makers of the menu disk or the publishers of the original game?

In theory I spose, as long as for instance the Medway boys said it was fine to distrubte there disks, that should be the end of the matter, with the publishers not taking you to court but the Medway Boys!

Any thoughts?
