You don't have to be a genious to see that browsers on the Amiga cannot compete to even old versions of windows/linux browsers.

Not true. everyday browsing is usually a good experience on Amiga - in my experience IBrowse 2.4 on AOS4 in PPC is good - only a few extras are missing - CSS being the most important, with Flash among others. but on the converse, browsing in IE can be a pain in Ar5e too.

besides, I used to do my surfin' and mailin' on an 8MB A1200/030 - at the same time ! (bit of a squeeze but I likes a challenge ! ;-))

I wasn't talking about "experience", that's a very personal thing. I said they cannot compete. You think they can? Could someone with a PC background switch to AWeb or Ibrowse and agree with you on experience?

Be fair; how about Flash? You can't use youtube eh? How about ActiveX? Shockwave? Realplayer? Quicktime? Ajax? XML? RSS Feeds?
Not even talking about speeds, opening even Amiga.org on a 68060 Amiga takes 10x longer then my PC.

IE surely isn't everything, but there are various others to choose from, Opera being one I use frequently. Or Firefox, ofcourse.
