baycom.drv in AmiCom V2.3
« on: September 14, 2007, 05:05:33 PM »
Hi fokes,
Im wondering wether the baycom.drv device "driver" in amicom V2.3 (Packet amateur radio program, as on aminet.net) could be modified as to make it possible for the user to select an alternative serial port for the program to use (Perhaps  via a text document) as opposed to the standard system serial port? (Eg, A HyperCom PortJunior on unit 0 rather than the system serial port?)

Would such a modification require the release of the original source code for the file?

Thoughts appreciated,
Hodgkinson.
