After having scored a perfect-condition Amiga 1080 monitor this week, I knew I had to bring my old 1000 out of the closet. Got her cleaned up and remember how much I used to love typing on that original keyboard and admiring the rainbow checkmarks.
Anyway, would love to come across an expansion item or two. This 1000 only has 512K of memory, so a Spirit board would be handy. I used to have a Xetec SCSI controller with some RAM in it, but that's long gone. I have a Supra4x4 SCSI controller, but it lacks the optional RAM module.
So, anybody got some way for me to put some fast RAM in this thing? I know better than to expect to find a Rejuvenator or Phoenix board.
Off to play Defender of the Crown on the 1000... (I think that'll work in 512K.)
