Will AmigaOS 4 have a Java Virtual Machine (JVM)?
« on: July 03, 2003, 03:21:31 PM »
Universities seem to be teaching Java over C++ (yes I know they are similar :-P) at present, to comp sci students - certainly from stories i have heard in the uk. Will AmigaOS 4 have support or come with a Java Virtual Machine or Just-In-Time Compiler so that the work of Java developers can be easily transferred to the Amiga, or will some one/group have to produce one?

I have absolutely no idea about Java, but check the news pages here ( http://amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=44522 ).
