Show of hands: Do you have a Minimig?
« on: August 26, 2007, 03:36:37 AM »
Lets see how many are out there?

Minimig home
Minimig openciricuts.com home
Amiga.org minimig thread 1
Amiga.org minimig thread2
Amiga.org minimig intrest thread
Amiga.org minimig logo thread
Amiga.org minimig xenepp preorder thread
Amiga org case discussion

There are a few more threads (ntsc, case etc... use search!)

1) Do you have one? (Please don't post no, but I want one. There are separate threads for that!
2) Did you bild it, or did someone else build it?
3) Share pictures! (Post in amiga.org gallery!)
4) What did it cost you?
5) Hours spent?
6) Part list?
7) Other?

FYI: I do not own a minimig... yet...
A posting a day keeps the sanity away...

I am assembleming two MiniMIGs right now. I am still short a few parts that are on order, and I have got my day job work/home stuff to do as well. My guess is that it will be a couple of weeks before I am close. I really want to help further develop stuff for MiniMIG, and I am trying to prepare/collect/port lots of stuff for MiniMIG (some Verilog add ons, hardware mods, 68K bug monitor, ram tests etc ...).
There does not seem to be enough hours in the day for me.

I'm waiting for mine as well.  If I get my hands on a dead A600, I might try to fit it inside there.  As for the keyboard issues, maybe an A600 keyboard->Keyrah->USB-to-PS2-adapter->Minimig will work...?

Ok, to keep this posting semi-on-topic, I just stumbled across this page with an interesting Minimig mod.  Me like.
Code 6502 asm or... DIE!!

I have same plans as you, and I'd love to see an A1200/A600 style keyboard connector on a future revision of the board :-)

I'm messing with it right now.  Have plans to utilize a dead laptop I have sitting here...
