RAID IDE hardware?

Does anyone know of a RAID IDE hardware only solution that is platform independent, i mean does not require pci,pcie,isa  pc slots?

You might want to take a look at this thread and the associated pics.

Or to make it a bit easier. Its probably not idea as you still need a SCSI interface, but I think its the closest your going to get.
