Read an article here:

That talks about a PPC motherboard that is amiga friendly running AROS and OS4.

It even has an FGPA to emulate "early Amiga computers"

Is this news or does everyone already know about this?

Everyone, and I mean everyone knows about the SAM440 motherboard. (Well all Amiga users anyway)
Its what triggered the current legal battle, the company making it has a advert in the current (last) issue of Total Amiga and it was at the last two Amiga shows plus another trade show. search for SAM or SAM 440 on a.org and you will see. :)
