PPC Question
« on: May 30, 2007, 08:15:55 PM »
Does anyone know why my PPC is reporting 0 Mhz when I use either scout, whichamiga, or listexp?   If I use showinfo it reports correctly (233 Mhz).  BTW, the WOS demo runs fine and PPC applications are working.  Just can't figure out why some tools keep showing the wrong speed for the PPC?  Any ideas?

This is "showinfo" output:

5.WB:PPCTools> showinfo
CPU:                   PPC 604E   (PVR = 00090204)

AND THIS IS "listexp"

Because Scout, listexp and IIRC WhichAmiga uses identify.library to display the info. This library is apparently only working correctly in PUP environments, as the mentioned programs should display correctly if they are launched under PUP.
