A4000T disks module switch config
« on: April 25, 2007, 12:55:43 PM »
Hi. I'm not sure if switch 4 is to enable or disable scsi2 (that's what it does isn't it) as the manual I got is in german, can someone confirm this ? Or post the meaning of all 8 switches btw, wich I think I got right, but you never know...
Lex site and amiga-hardware don't have the config btw...

Didn't need to post this, but it's here if anyone else needs it or to further discuss it.

After a very long search it seems that the controler is the same as on the A4091, the NCR 53C710, though Lex site says the one on the A4000T is the NCR 53710, so not sure if it's exactly the same. The switches seem to be the same though, and it's good news for me cause that means I have fast scsi disabled and I was getting around 4.5MB/s, not bad that simple scsi! With fast it'll probably get very close to 10MB/s :-D

Any luck with those dip switches?  If you have figured out which does what, let me know as I can use this info as well.

Also did you reach any speeds close to 10Mb/s?
