O boy, if the statement "I can get a video card for it in the thrift shop" doesn't excite you, nothing will...

What we\'re witnessing is the sad, lonely crowing of that last, doomed cock.

Adam said it will ship with a PCI graphics card included, so the argument over PCI graphics is pointless.

On topic.

I wonder also about the intentions of Amiga Inc.

Why don't they seem to want to co-operate with Jens.  Jens say he offered them a lot of money but they delayed negotiations time after time and failed to prove that they are the IP holders.  Maybe they don't want a retro product like this that could earn them a lot of money to cause confusion to consumers.

What is the cause of the apparent break down of relations with Acube.  Last year Bill Mcewen spoke so positively about SAM and the opportunities it offered for a range of different devices.

Now they have announced they are working with ACK who has shown less commitment and progress than Troika.  Amiga say they are subsidizing production so that larger runs can be made.  This sounds like exclusive branded hardware to me.

If Amiga are actually serious and pull this thing off, where does that leave other potential hardware vendors such as Acube, Troika and Elbox.

All excellent questions.  I only wish Amiga Inc would actually answer them for us.

What's the point in using a slotted graphics card if there's no reasonable upgrade path available?

Eh, who needs to compete with graphics standards from ten years ago anyway?
