AmiSSL question
« on: April 13, 2007, 06:04:45 PM »
I've installed and re-installed AmiSSL V2-V3,
double checked the assigns and paths in user
startup but when I try to enable SSL in Yam
and send or recieve mail I get "cant initialise
AmiSSL" messages. Am I missing something obvious?

Try to install AmiSSL V1. AFAIK YAM still needs V1.

Bye,

Where do you find V1? I've got V2.2 and V3.6,
is V1 still available anywhere? Thanks!

Ok, I removed V2/V3 and installed V1 and was able to
download mail through Yam 2.4p1 but when I try to send
mail, Yam times out with a "server is down or does not
support Pop3 SMTP protocols" message. This wouldn't
be an issue if my IP weren't making changes that make
enabling SSL mandatory. I got the wife's XP's mailer
updated and working and my sons G4's mailer updated
and working but Yam is putting up a struggle. >:)
