Another story to get to a question. Sun Microsystems announced there would be no DST patch for systems older than Solaris 8. To address this on my Solaris 7 servers, I simply compiled from the updated zoneinfo sources, copied US/Eastern (since it's the only one I use) to /usr/share/lib/zoneinfo and everything worked fine.
Which got me to wondering if there is a time keeping system for AmigaOS which followed the same suit. I see SetDST on AmiNet, but I have always simply set TZ and YAM_TZ manually.
