News about the C1?

Hi.

I saw the "may-4-2003: C-One boards not for sale at the release party!" announcement, but since then it has been quite silent.

Does anyone know anything about the current status of the CommodoreOne?

Hi!

The last bit of status we got at the Yahoo mailing list (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CommodoreOne/) was this, sent on June 2 by MagerValp who's working on the boot ROM:

Actually, the boot rom is pretty much done. The list of known bugs is:

1) Keyboard fifo signals empty too early (keys either stick or aren't detected)
2) Graphics is a somewhat weird 416x480 mode
3) Instructions for in system programming haven't been added
4) Floppy control are only partially done

These are all core bugs - I'm not saying the boot code is bug free (I seriously doubt that , but those are the ones that we know of. 1 and 3 need to be fixed before any boards can ship.

AFAIK Jeri's currently very busy working on the C64 core for the 1k100.

Since then, the only discussions have been about how long it's going to be until release (sound familiar?  :-D ) and someone got an email virus that impersonated him.
