ACube Systems doing the Minimig?
« on: February 25, 2007, 02:27:18 PM »
Hi all,

Yes, it's just an idea or a dream if you want.
But as I see this company moving quite well, I hope (and I mean I really hope that they will be able to offer a Minimig-like solution with the Sam board.

My A1 seems to get tired (sometimes it doesn't boot up) so I hope I'll be able to get new hardware from these guys.
The Minimig would be the sugar on top !

I looked at their site..Good stuff.  They even have a Amiga OS screen shot..

I sent them an email..saying I look fwd to running Amiga OS4 and beyond on their machine.  We should all(Amigans) send them an email...
Im sure they would enjoy the feed back..

I remember that Dennis explicitly mentioned Samantha in the long Minimig-thread. I might add the exact quote later when I found it.

Have you given any thought to the possibilities of integrating Minimig on the FPGA on the proposed Samantha board? They would seem a perfect fit if the board ever goes into production.

Yes, Samantha is definately one of *the* boards to run Minimig on.
