Sorry if I failed to notice, but does your board get recognised in early startup menu?

Hi there!
I can only tell you VERY good things about Jean Jacques...he dos some very good work at repairing Amigas, and AFAIK, he is the only one in the world (?¿) to repair Cyberstorm PPC/Bilzzard PPC boards as well..

You can check by yourself Here

Drop him a line, he may give you some suggestions...
Hope you can fix the machine!!!

Kind Regards

You can probably still get a new AV module from vesalia, but I don't know where you will get a new ports module. If you find a source, let me know because I want a spare.

You may have to send the whole lot to JJ if the mobo has busted components.
That seems like a lot of failures, though!

Thats ok..Yes the board is recognised by the early startup..and says its working..
I actually started a thread, just to find out how "smart" the early startup is.

Thanks
oh and as for the replies above..I have ordered an A/V module and a
ports module.  So that atleast is covered.  I do however see two
caps on the MoBo that look like they have leaked or have that
green fungis looking stuff around the solder pads..Check out my photos..I posted earlier.

I can replace the silver can like caps myself as long as I get find some new ones..
But Im def. keeping JJ in mind as I might have to send it to him.

Just got my replacement A/V board and Ports module board in the mail...

Sweet!!  I hope soon the A4000T will now be able to use my CV64/ Zorro
slots...We shall see.  I still need to inspect the MoBo..more closely.  As I know
I have a few caps..that look a bit fuzzy..

I will try and find a source for the Caps that are bad attempt to fix myself..

or should I just send it to be repaired..or should I try the new boards with out
inspecting the MoBo??

Silly questions I know..

I may post pics of the new boards.. :-)

@everyone

Hey. I've got a LOT of pepper from my previous employer.
Was fiddling around with some very crucial and very old piece of electronic. BE CAREFUL!!!!!
they don't want to be used the same way as when they were new.
I blew up a couple of cpu's, a hard drive, a motherboard and a whole bunch of memory modules when I was trying to ease my work. And as a result my captain went wild eyed for blowing up a couple of computers that had served their time (and I only tried to get the computers to do what they were supposed to do).

-The best-

You can try the new modules one at a time on the Miggy, no problem.
Where did you buy the ports module?
