Changing the subject ever so slight (or that probaby should be "sorry, off topic") - is there Welsh language support available for the Amiga? This would be a lovely thing to see. And Cornish too?

I'm sure I heard of work on Windows support for Welsh. I know that Israel had (or at least threatened) to boycott Windows due to lack of support for hebrew.

There was an episode of the Simpsons where Lisa protested in favour of Cornish independance but no real support for any Celtic/Gaelic languages in most OSes...

... strange as Oxford offer a degree in Celtic language and culture.

Windows must SURELY offer support for Welsh! Pretty poor state of affairs if not. I was being a bit tongue-in-cheek with my Cornish locale support question but it would be nice to see! I remember the Simpsons episode where Matt Groening took up the cause of the Cornish, it was the alternative Queen's speech as I remember it. Exeter University also offer a Cornish Studies degree.

I can't remember how many languages there are in the world. I think there's 240 countries, 4000 languages and 32,000 variations or something - the Celtic languages combined must have at least a million speakers (600,000 people speak Welsh both in Wales and Patagonia,Argentina).

I suppose it's up to the last remaining Amiga users of those languages to be the gospel.

A cross-platform language library would be cool though, like javascript or that plugin dictionary some text editors use.

EDIT:
So when/where are you guys meeting?
