Any diskmags alive and well?
« on: February 10, 2007, 07:51:14 PM »
I know times have changed. We're in the age of the internet which has all but killed off the BBS and diskmag scene, but there was something very special about both of these devices of the Amiga community / scene. Some BBSes struggle on I know but what about diskmags? I used to read The Word and Grapevine and would really devour every last morsel of text in both of those publications (especially The Word). God they were exciting times. Maybe it's just nostalgia or my more senior years but I just don't get that buzz from websites! Anyway, are there any Amiga diskmags which are still being released with reasonable regularity? Would love to check them out!

Odd, I was just thinking the same thing ... those were the days!

I used to read a couple diskmags regularily, as recently as four years ago, but they seem to have ceased "publication".  Wish I could remember their names.

A quick google search gave me the following site www.diskmag.de, but I haven't looked at it closely.  Maybe it'll help?

Incidentally, ever thought of starting your own diskmag?
