LCD's are cool and cheap, but they suck at black level and I've actually seen some motion artifacts due to slow response even on high end ones. I've been looking at getting a new TV for some time now and it seems eventhough every technology has it's ups and downs best choice right now would probably be a high end plasma but those are expensive as hell... :-o
