CD Recording Software
« on: February 01, 2007, 09:24:45 AM »
Looking at getting an Internal 2nd Hand SCSI CDRW for my A2000. OS2.1.  What recording software do people recommend. Considering the current retail market for amiga software. Or am I dreaming in thinking I can get something on workable on OS2.1. Is BURNIT any good ?

Frying Pan is the only one still in development.
I use MakeCD as it does good CDTV discs.

MakeCD is pretty capable.  There is a support mailing list and the author responds to questions posed on it.
Music I've made using Amigas and other retro-instruments: http://theovoids.bandcamp.com

Well I've had a play of Make CD and it works well if at a  low level and a steep learning curve (novice mode taught me well). Sessions I get, but tracks....  Anyway it proved my Yamaha CDRW6416 works beautifully with my A1200 and I burned some folders to a CD so I am one happy Amigan.
Now for my A2000...
Thanks again. :-D
