Anyone buy hardware from Elbox and have problems with Polcard?
« on: February 18, 2007, 04:50:53 AM »
I tried purchasing some hardware from Elbox and am wondering if anyone else had problems with their Polcard system accepting a Visa debit card?

I couldn't get my Visa debit to work so I opted for a bank tranfer thinking it would bring me to a place that I could use PayPal to make the transaction. I was brought to a screen that told me an email had been sent confirming my order. I hope this goes through I want my eFlash card and network card for my Mediator.

I haven't had a problem with my CC from Elbox, but I haven't made an order for a couple of years now.

BTW, why pay for an overpriced NIC from Elbox?  RTL8139 is only $.99 on eBay.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

I bought a used Mirage tower that included the Mediator which works very good.

@adolescent,

That is a good point, I just threw it down so I know I will get a card that will work with the Mediator plus I have over 79.00 now so I will save 25.00 on shipping (free) and didn't really need anything else at the moment.

Yeah, I tried to use VISA when buying from Elbox. It all worked fine til I went to the Polcard site. It just wouldn't work for me so I had to use Mastercard.
