The battery has leaked all over the motherboard though  :-(
I wonder why he did not remove it... sigh

Edit: Seems like he has now removed it and cleaned the area.

It looks like a disaster area. :-(
I wonder if the acid has wrecked some traces. The case
is nice and shiny though...

He says that is the repair.  I think it doesn't look that bad.  The case, inside and out is so clean.
