Apollo 040 accelerator
« on: January 31, 2007, 01:35:54 PM »
Hi all,

I've got an Apollo '040 with 16Mb (it might even be 32Mb) of RAM that I'm thinking of getting rid of.

Anybody want to make me an offer? I'm in the UK but I'll send it wherever.

Cheers,
Gaz.

What is it made for? A1200? A4000?
I'm looking for a 040 or 060 for my A4000.

Hi, Gaz --

- Which model is it, 3040 or 4040?
- Do you have the library disk?  The Big Book says the stock 68040.library cannot be used with this card.
- Do you have the chip adaptor for the A3000 series?
- Do you have the manual, and anything else I didn't think of?  :-)

Thanks!

I'm at work at the moment so I can't check what clock speed the 040 is. Although I know for a fact that I don't have any manuals or disks with it.

It does however work fine with my stock A1200 and WB3.1.

I'll check the details when I get home.

Cheers,
Gaz.

Hi all,

Right, I've checked the card out, it's fully working and is a full '040 at 33Mhz with 16Mb of RAM.

Any offers? :-)

Cheers,
Gaz.

You guys are quick...in the time it took me to write that post, you had this whole conversation about it being for a 1200. :-o I must be getting old and slow.
