Hi!

I am a massive Amiga fan and am desperate to play the old games again!

I have downloaded the emulator but I understand I need some other kind of kickstart ROM files.

I would be hugely grateful for any suggestions as to:

1.  Where the best place(s) to buy the kickstart ROM files is/are; and

2.  I see that Amiga Forever have a dowloadable version as well as a cd package.  If Amiga Forever is the recommended site, whether it is worth getting the cd/"plus" version or whether the online version is suitable for a bog-standard windows user like me!!

Many thanks for your time, and have a good weekend!

John

Hi John,

I've played around with AF 2005 and 2006. Purchasing the CDs will get you some extra stuff like video interviews and such, but if you are just looking for the ROMS, then the online edition should be quite ok.

Fester,

Thanks very much for the tip.  I shall be heading to hand over the cash shortly!

I apologise for asking another question, but I don't suppose you could help me out?  Following some feedback from this site I recently bought 2 USB Competition Pro joysticks.  However, I understand that it is also possible to connect 2 of my old zipsticks via the old Amiga 4-player adaptor (which doubles as an input device on the pc's serial port).  Do you know if it's possible to combine both USB and serial port input to play a couple of 4 player games I have??

Many thanks,

John
