I think 1d1 i supposed to be the best but to be honest there are lots of ppl on here that will say they have had no problems using the revisions, myself included.

I believe the 2b suffers from some timing issues, which will make it unstable with with some 68030 or higher accelerators. There is a guide on aminet on how to fix it.. It basically involves that you have to remove or replace a couple of resistors.
I do not know much about 1d1 though..

2b is fine. I had it with various configs like:
- RBM zorroII busboard
- Elbox zorroIV busboard
- Mediator zorroIV  pci busboard
- G-Rex 1200 new and old revisions
- Bvision / picassoII / piccoloSD64 / kickflashOS4 cards used
plus always a fastata and a BPPC with a 060/60mhz.
never had a single timing prob or whatever...
