K, time for a little update:

I already gave one of the A4000's away to someone living 10 km from me, so that leaves me with one A4000 left. It's a Rev B, comes with a standard '030EC and I'll pack 2 3.5 HD's with it (about 120 MB each I guess). It has some battery damage (didn't seem too bad though; made some pictures but they came out too blurry), doesn't come with extra memory installed (memory banks are empty) and I seem to have misplaced the IDE cable (might turn up though ;-) ).

As said before, I prefer her being picked up, so if you're still interested send me another PM the coming four days; I'll decide/pick who's getting her after that (and yes, I'm totally bribable ;-) ).

Hm. Seeing the number of PMs mentioned here there are already 5 people for each machine it seems.... :-D

Anyway, PM sent (4 days ago or so) :lol:

Alrighty then, 1 day left to reply...and I have five interested dutchmen...and only 1 A4000 to spare. I'm afraid chances are slim that I'll send her abroad, but as promised, I'll reply every PM I got (might have to take a day off though ;-) ). As for the five that made it to the last round: I'll decide (read: throw dices) this weekend, so stay tuned :-)

K, one day too late (busy as heck), but after throwing dice, there's only one winner: *pompompompom* Lemonty!

@Lemonty: I'll pm you shortly
@all the others interested: I'll pm you as soon I get the day off (but I will, promise) :-)

After some cleaning of the area surrounding the leaky battery that I have removed I powered the system up yesterday. I got the famous insert-disk animation. Good result. I hope the system will work for a few more years. Unfortunately, the corrosion worm has begun it's destructive work. Let's hope for the best.
