Direct Connect for AmigaOS
« on: May 16, 2003, 08:09:42 PM »
Has anyone used the DCTC for Amiga? Does it really works?

I remember someone wanted to make a GUI for it. Do we have a GUI for it now?
Thanx

(I fixed the link now)

I started writing a MUI Direct Connect client from scratch. I got quite far; you can connect to servers, chat, and people can download stuff from you. I didn't get it to a state where you could download things yourself, though.

I've stopped developing it because I got bored with it, but i've twice offered to hand over the (Amiga E) source to any motivated programmer, but no response, so I guess nobody is really that bothered...

Tickly: I remember trying 'E' some centuries behind...how difficult would it be to convert it to C?
