Currently testing my 4000D configuration... I have installed an internal DCE SD/FF and a videoslot Compserv (AKA Arxon) one ... both are fine and work 100%. I don't remember any prob whatsoever having both with the original 4000D zorroIII busboard, but now that I installed the g-rex4000D ,having the videoslot one installed causes "artifacts" to the dce one, plus it does not always work...
also noticed this to the voodoo3 output, on the early startup menu, that just uses the bust to copy data , before os3.9 starts... on the voodoo3 output stripes are visible...
it seems strange to me, I don't recall seeing anywhere that the g-rex videoslot is picky about scandoublers... have not yet tried to remove the dce one to see how the videoslot alone does, but I don't see why it will work better alone... the whole point of the videoslot one is that it is full 24bit unlike the internal dce one....
can anyone think of why this happens? maybe the g-rex videoslot is picky? all pci cards work fine on the g-rex, being playing hereticII too  :-D

I would definately remove the internal DS/FF to test.  The real question is why would you need two scan doublers?
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(
