I would just try and get what you can at this point in time!

Thanks for the advice.  This is basically what I am doing now.

What a way to learn a lesson huh - sell a pristine machine and regret it the day after !  Doh !!! :-(

All the best

I see you got it anyway :-)
A bit too rich for my blood - I wasn't bidding against you on it, as I've just blown my budget on an a3000 last week.
Congratulations.

Thats a nice little setup, is it yellowed at all?  I hope not!  I also have a 030 based A4000 and a 1960 monitor.  A nice combination!!!  Get a larger HD, any IDE drive will do, if you can find a nice 20GB that would be nice!
Going Bananas over AMIGAs since 1987...

Looking for Fusion Fourty PNG ROMs V3.4?

@ TjLaZer

Thanks for the comments :-)

Is it ever so slightly yellowed on the right hand side but nothing too bad.

Thanks for the advice re the HD - I have more shopping to do when my bank account can stand it ! :-)

Nice website by the way !!!

Wow. I still can't believe people are THAT emotionally attached to machines. Sure I named mine, but I name about anything I have.

I was thinking about making my one system Bianca Nieve (it would have had my spare A4000D Rev B. motherboard, Amiga 3.1 roms, and coin battery mod), but getting the parts for it would be too expensive. I just might end up letting the girl sell it for me so we can have money to eat and get fuel, gas, petrol, whatever you call it.

I've realized we are definately in dark times. :-(
