Any Planet Internet users here? Can't reach AmigaWorld
« on: July 28, 2006, 10:30:16 AM »
Hi,

I think my provider has screwed up. I can't reach AmigaWorld anymore. Since yesterday I can't reach the website and today I can't even reach the IRC server.

Yesterday I was told on the IRC channels that everybody could still reach AmigaWorld.

If I do a tracert, I get this:

  1    <1 ms    <1 ms    <1 ms  192.168.0.1
  2    42 ms    49 ms    29 ms  195.190.249.116
  3    49 ms    70 ms    39 ms  iawxsrt-dc2-bb21a.wxs.nl [213.75.1.1]
  4     *        *       56 ms  te3-3.mpd01.ams03.atlas.cogentco.com [195.69.144
.124]
  5    67 ms    79 ms    57 ms  t2-0-0.core01.ams03.atlas.cogentco.com [130.117.
0.33]
  6    28 ms    49 ms    39 ms  p1-0.core01.lon01.atlas.cogentco.com [130.117.1.
225]
  7    89 ms    29 ms    60 ms  p15-0.core01.par01.atlas.cogentco.com [130.117.1
.122]
  8    80 ms    29 ms    50 ms  vl100.mpd01.par01.atlas.cogentco.com [130.117.1.
174]
  9    71 ms    90 ms    59 ms  82.138.72.6
 10    80 ms    89 ms    69 ms  www.amigaworld.net [62.193.231.47]

Do you get the same IP? Eventhough I can tracert, I can't browse AmigaWorld.

Regards,
Remco

Anyway, I'm afraid I can't test it right now, PulsatingQuasar. I'm in Finland atm.

62.193.231.47 is the correct IP. Can you try to go to http://62.193.231.47/ ?

@nicholas

Do the abbreviations F.U. and F.O. say anything to you?
