A3000 Is Alive
« on: August 09, 2006, 05:56:28 PM »
Not really a hardware problem, but I'm just so jazzed I had to share.

For a couple of years now my A3000 hasn't been working.  Intermitant or no boot/black screen, other problems like graphical glitches, etc.  I finally took the advice I see here so often and cleaned contacts, re-seated chips, etc. and now it's working 100%!  Why I'm so happy is because I bought this machine new in 1991 or 1992 so it's been in the family all it's life.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

Hey, great work!

Ours recently died (well not really either... PSU did). We've ordered another one, so we'll see how it goes.

I think it is one of the most neglected Amigas out there. No products are really produced for it, everything seems to be for the A1200 and A4000. :-(

And, I\'ve relapsed, LOL.

Hmm, might be canceling again. LOL
