Is a -revision B- A4000 a good choise?

It's the most common revision by a long shot.
The usual things; check battery and corrosion, buster if it's a rev 11, and if not if it is socketed. Can have leaking capacitors.

a CR version (rev D) has some advantages, some disadvantages but is really, really rare compared to the rev B.
