My camera is crap, and so is my drawing. But the drawing is the best of two bad things! :-D
I briefly used a FlickerMagic in my A4000D but I think it was designed for an A1200. It didnt have the additional board that clipped over a second chip. Also, instead of going directly to a VGA socket, it had a little board that sat in between the VGA socket and the external RGB port of the Amiga, which also connected to the FlickerMagic by a ribbon cable.
There is a different version that was more suited to the A4000; the one with two clip-over-chip boards and maybe also a L-bracket to screw to the case. Either way, this one worked too, it just wasn't as neat.
Here is how it fitted inside my A4000D:

(obviously looking at the card area from the front).
I now have a Compserv Scandoubler II card which suits the A4000 a bit better; but mainly because my FlickerMagic is a bit temperamental...
And yes, I was VERY bored and had too much time to kill. :-D
